Opportunities in the Groove are:

reviewer
music journalist
'what's new' section

movie reviewer
gamer

columnist (need a few)

commentary writer (need a few)

The music section covers most genres. Reviewers should be good at expressing opinions on paper; also, all aspects of the reviewed song or album should be studied (such as beat or quality of lyrics), as well as the album as a whole. Interested?

The music journalist should regularly submit articles and updates on current or 'hot' musical artists. These articles should be short and objective (i.e. no speeches or opinions). All types of music should be covered. Interested?

The writer for the 'what's new' section should actually know what's up. This person must stay on top of the new musical talent scene and also find out when new albums are due to be in stores. Objectivity is optional; however, the writer may not show excessive negativity. Interested?

Movie reviewers should be good at expressing opinions on paper; also, all aspects of the film should be discussed (such as acting, special effects, screenwriting). Remember you are film critics - also look for good points. Interested?

The gamer is really a simple job. This person finds fun or interesting games, then e-mails the links to the Groove. New games are only neccessary once in a while, perhaps once a month - five games is fine. The gamer can do reviews for video games if desired. The gamer may periodically receive copies of games to review. Interested?

Columnists write a continuous section, updated weekly or biweekly, on the same topic (i.e. surf & ski report, advice column, etc). Topic must be okayed by the Groove. Column may be objective or subjective, between 100-400 words. Interested?

C'mon, hooch. Interested?
